. C(1): PERMIT STATUS 9/25/2008 - C.O. #6 - Initial review. Comments issued. 9/29/2008 - Approved. C(2): PROTECTION OF REINFORCING The plans call for cutting of the slab areas of the waffle slab for the duct penetrations. It could not be determined if the ductwork is continuous through the slab openings. The concern is that the system could draw significant moisture through the opening and potentially corroding exposed reinforcing. Please advise if the ducts are continuous past the openings,or provide a means for protecting the exposed reinforcing. Reference: 9/29/08 - Resolved. Revised detail shows applied waterproofing membrane along all cut edges of concrete. MMP
