Comment: New rooftop unit - new unit is not 'like for like' old curb is 11' and new unit 17.5' long. I believe the installation is outside the bounds of a retrofit application and requires a standalone permit. Removed and installed same gas reg, and re pipe several feet of gas piping. For amount of work being performed around gas reg, gas reg needs to be brought up to code, and gas test needs to be witnessed.

Per 2018 IFGC Muni amendment 410.6 Where the manufacturers instructions don't specify an installation elevation for the gas regulator, the regulator shall be install 12 inches above the anticipated snow depth to protect the regulator from snow and ice build up.
