D condenser 50% coil = 300psig, full time coil = 300psig, D1 = 300psig, D2 = 300psig, D3 = 300psig, D4 = 300psig, D5 = 300psig, D7 = 255psig, D8 = 255psig, Rack B = 255psig, Rack D = 255psig. There are several places on the roof where guards, permanently affixed ladders, and platforms are required. See notes 2-4. NOTES: #1. B-6 and D-6 were deleted. #2. Per the 2018 IMC 304.11, "Guards shall be provided where various components that require service and the roof hatch openings are located within 10 feet of a roof edge or open side of a walking surface and such edge or open side is located more than 30 inches above the floor, roof, or grade below." #3. Per 306.1 of the 2018 IMC. "Appliances, control devices, heat exchangers, and HVAC system components that utilize energy shall be accessible for inspection, service, repair, and replacement without disabling the function of a fire resistance rated assembly or removing permanent construction, or other appliances, venting systems or any other piping or ducts not connected to the appliance being inspected, serviced, repaired, or replaced. A level working space not less than 30 inches deep and 30 inches wide shall be provided in front of the control side to service an appliance." #4. Per 306.5 of the 2018 IMC. "Where equipment requiring access or appliances are located on an elevated structure or roof of a building such that personnel will have to climb higher than 16 feet above grade to access such equipment or appliances an interior ( exterior was eliminated by a municipal amendment) means of access shall be provided. Such access shall not require climbing over obstructions greater than 30 inches in height or walking on roofs having a slope greater than four units vertical in twelve units horizontal. Such access shall not require the use of portable ladders." #5 Differed submittals will be required for equipment over 40 pounds supported by the structure under the roof, or on the roof over 400 pounds. These need to be submitted to the MOA and stamped approved. Then supplied to the inspector for inspection.
