Fire alarm approved for CO today; contractor Cosco fire protection. Correct all remaining items as follows: 1) Exits have obstructions in required paths of egress. Remove all materialsfrom passageways to 2nd exit. 2) Fire extinguishers not conspicuous- provide signage at extinguishers identifying locations in concealed wall cabinets. 3) Front entry overhang requires eschutecheon at base of sprinkler. Provide i/a/w IFC 903.2/NFPA 25/IFC 107.1 4) Front entry overhang has penetration above main entrance doors. Seal penetration i/a/w IFC 107.1; NFPA 25 5) Fire rated doors to elevator rooms, stairs and throughtout do not close and latch from any open position; do not have complete hardware to complete fire resistive separation (lacking strike plates, etc.). Provide fuly operational & complete fire doors per IFC 703.2 6) Large steel exit doors (2nd exit from main store) do not close properly or have closures; unable to verify doors will open with proper pounds of force. Provide fully operable doors IFC 1008. 7) alarmed exit door doors opened but latch became stuck when tested. Provide fuly operable exit door. IFC 1008.
