Correction,  MG 2-16-17.

OK for Footing and Foundation Only, MG 2-16-17. 
Other grading work outside of the building footprint such as storm
drainage elements and final grading are not approved
.  By the developer going forward with the
F&F the floor elevation will be set prior to approval of a grading
& drainage plan stamped by a civil engineer that may result in significant
increased costs to the developer to resolve site specific challenges to
preparing an approvable site grading & drainage plan.

1. Please resubmit plans without, “NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION”. Resolved, MG 4-10-17.

2. Please provide a copy of the Geotechnical Report with recommendations for pavement areas.  All pre-design subsurface investigations
shall be in accordance with the soil investigation standards given in DCM
Section 1.7.D.  Approved by Kent Kohlhase P.E., Resolved, MG 4-10-17.

3. Ref. Sheet 16 of 74 & 24 of 74; As shown drainage is directed to the Alaska Railroad Right of Way, please
provide a drainage easement or notarized letter of non-objection from the Alaska
Railroad. Concentrated drainage flows shall not be discharged onto downstream
properties unless the owner of the affected land has granted an easement
expressly authorizing such discharge.  2007 DCM 2.2D.8.  Resolved with Alaska Railroad Permit, MG 4-10-17.

4. The Engineer shall certify that the existing storm drain facilities have sufficient capacity and are in sufficient condition for the proposed
project.  DCM 2.2.D, 2.2.D.8, 2.4.B, 2.4.D.6, 2.4.F 2.7.B.7,  DDG 5.9.1, 5.9.2.

5. Indicate the installation of storm drain pipe locator tape three feet below finish grade or two feet deep in the
street structural section. MASS Section 20.13 Article 13.3.E, page 39 R2.

6.  ADVISORY NOTE: Please provide ADOT&PT permits for the driveway and storm drain connections within Dimond Boulevard.

7. Indicate that the ground surface shall be prepared to receive fill by removing vegetation, noncomplying fill,
topsoil and other unsuitable materials scarifying to provide a bond with the
new fill.  AMC 23.105.110.2.

8. All fills shall be placed in lifts not exceeding 12 inches and compacted to a minimum of 90 percent of maximum
density.  Fills under building footprints, driveways, and parking lots shall be placed in lifts not exceeding
12 inches and compacted to 95 percent of maximum density. AMC 23.105.110.4. Approved by Kent Kohlhase P.E., Resolved, MG 4-10-17.
