1. The following comments based on the 2012 International
Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of
plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC
or any federal, state or local regulations.

CODE INFORMATION:

Sheet G1.3 (Code Data). Please address
the following:

(A)  
Construction type is not type II, It is type III-B.

(B)  
This is not a 1-7 floor tower. The location of this business is in
separate one story building with construction type of III-B.

3.  EXTERIOR WALL FIRE RATING:

G1.3. Please show the exiting exterior wall to be 2-hr fire resistance rated
per IBC Table 601.

4.  CODE INFORMATION (OCCUPANT LOAD):

Sheet
G1.3 (Occupant Load). The occupant load factor per IBC 1004.1 is based on
square footage. It appears to be closer to 50 occupants than shown..  

5.  CODE INFORMATION (CAPACITY OF EGRESS “SECTION
1005”):

6.  SECURITY GRILL:

A1.0. Please address the security grilles per IBC section 402.13 requirements.

7.  When the above comments have been addressed,
please update the architectural plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three
(3) sets of revised electrical pages to include clouded changes, architecture
stamp and signature.
