1. LATERAL RESTRAINT OF ENTRY ROOF

Refer to Sheet S3.2, Detail 17/S4.4. Please clarify the lateral restraint of the high roof at the entry. Given the location and orientation (horizontal and vertical) of the HSS 4x4 struts, it seems that there are no ways of developing a tension/compression couple to transfer loads from the upper roof to the main roof for transverse displacements; all of the connections are pinned, and the struts are eccentric to both the horizontal and vertical centers of mass.
