2nd submittal reviewed 9/8/2011: Through phone conversation original comments 5, 6, & 7 pertaining to required fire protection systems have been acknowledged as being deferred submittals.
OK to issue permit noting corrections required until outstanding comment can be resolved thru fire marshall.
3. Not resolved. Requires fire marshal's concurence that "Intent of code is met". E-mail sent to FM. awaiting response. Again, notified tony bargainer its OK to issue permit.
8. Item resolved. Agree with response since vestibule is not open to mall corridor and space by itself does have an occuppant load > 50.
OK for F&F.
3. The mechanical room doors 128 encroach into the path of egress for door 08. This is not allowed per IBC 1005.2. Resolved (9/14): Meets intent per commentary - Concurred by fire marshall.
8. Emergency lighting is required to be extended into mall Vestibule 131. Please show fixture type and locations on plans. Resolved (9/14): Not part of the exit from the restaurant. Not open to mall. Space by itself irequires single exit only - No emergency light reuired.
