1) STATUS: 8-5-11 Comments to be addressed.
2) The following comments based on the 2006 International Building, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC, IMC, IFGC or any federal, state or local regulations.
3) Provide structural, seismic and wind load calculations as applicable plus fastening details for one lot of kitchen exhaust hoods (#20), AC-1 thru 6 and MUA-1 to include engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis.
4) AC-3.1 Grease duct exhaust outlets are required to be at least 40" above the roof surface. (IMC 506.3.12.1) Please clarify.
5) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised mechanical plans to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
